Evening & Weekend Appointments
There is access to GP and Nurse appointments in the evenings and at weekends via Islington i:HUB – on weekdays from 6.30pm to 8.00pm and on Saturday & Sunday from 8.00am to 8.00pm. Just phone the surgery number (020 7923 1999) any time between 8.00am and 8.00pm – 7 days a week – to ask for an appointment.
These appointments are not at our surgery but at one of three centres, the closest of which is Islington Central Medical Centre at Highbury Corner.
Extra Weekend Appointments for the basics
As part of a national extended hours’ scheme, we are now offering additional appointments for the basics with a Health Care Assistant.
These clinics take place at Islington Central Medical Centre at Highbury Corner on a Sunday morning, from 8.00am to 1.00pm and are suitable for:
- Wound dressings
- B12 injections
- NHS health checks
- Ear irrigation (double appointment)
- Suture & clip removal
- Blood pressure checks
- Diabetes part 1 reviews (double appointment)
